Surviving The Storm Poem by Jo Lynn Ehnes

Surviving The Storm

Rating: 0.5

An unexpected night entwined their souls,
entrapping them within temptation's storm.
A hurricane romance displaced their lives,
enticing them with false illusions formed.
But somewhere midst the gusts of wind and rain
a gentle voice of reason calmed the waves.
Replacing lusting gales with love's soft breeze,
Respect and Honor were the victims saved.
A friendship rescued from the eye of death,
now flourishes with growing buds of peace.
No longer shadowed by deception's cloud,
these voyagers sail with pain and guilt released.

Destruction's force impaled by Wisdom's blade.
An everlasting bond of trust displayed.
