A home which I used to love, turned into a hell I can't withstand.
My mother who I cared about soo much, turned into a creature i couldn't despise more.
Why you may wonder, well let me tell my tale.
Her wicked screams she craves into my soul, troubling me throughout the night.
Her heart, as a cave, abandonded and cold.
Her soul, twisted with vigorous slitherings.
One day a hug, the other day a knife in my back. There is no trust.
She has no love, no warmth.
Of this creature, hollow inside.
Suecide was the only anwser which would help me cope with living with her.
I tried,
I failed,
I bailed.
With bleeding wrists I've weeped, "I will be at peace soon".
How wrong I was,
How dumb I was.
My wrists were a playground for the blade, yet now, the marks have disappeared by some miracle.
A voice in my head, a calm whisper who guided me through hell, has held me alive.
A light, a light soo bright it showed me the way.
Enlightenment stands forth, which is the path of peace and harmony.
This hell in which I live,
These tears which have fallen,
The glance of death, has turned it's head away.
I, I am a survivor.
Not in war, but in a temporary hell.
Not at home, but at a test of my strenght.
Not given peace, but given the tools to harvest it.
Not in harmony, but in myself.
A good start with a nice poem, Daniel Pavkovic. You may like to read my poem, Love And Iust. Thank you.
