Swarming With... Poem by Devon Tremblay

Swarming With...

Broken, rust over the iron bands
Fallen, are the calcified hearts of man
go crawl into a dark corner
and pray for mercy my brother

You are Just, You are Merciful
You make dust look beautiful

I bring my feet for the cleansing
I thank you for all of the grace you are sending
All that I see isn't satisfied
All of my suffering will not die

Dig deep inside Mr.Gravedigger
Hearts grow hard in cold winters
Cut away the layers
They only suffocate
Praise the open prayers
Love is never late
Bring back strong reminders to shine
Death won't hinder a living mind

Press on my chest
To bring back the beat
Lay my sins to rest
Be the light under my feet
Come down, descend upon my body
Shine down, you send grace upon me
So merciful, so meaningful

Give me your misery
To assure our healing
Perseverance crawls out of this suffering
