Sway Poem by Josephine Lauderdale

Sway

Working its way out of my pours
Into the ether where it must be
Guarded and trapped
Sorted and mapped
Onto my paper
Where it will dance
To lights and rythms

That know not where they came from
Or where they are going

They look for a partner

And ask me
Just as I am about to walk off the floor
If I will
Dance
