Sweet Dreams Poem by marissa c baker

Sweet Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Dreams come and go with rise and fall of the sun
Friends are forever until the break of dawn
Hearts will be felt and torn into pieces
But we continue to do the little things in life to help fill the creases

Night mares are just a figment of mind
Towards the new born baby whom brings joy to the eyes
We inhale the fumes of the green grass from such a beautiful day
Trying the best to cherish our lives in such exotic ways

Hoping that each day will not be the same
That there is always a tomorrow and that there are brighter days
Letting god into your life and the courage to believe
You will wake up one holiday morning with the fresh air able to breathe

Then new years comes around and you sigh with a relief
Accepting faith and trying to see what you know you can’t see
Living beyond your wishes and expectations
Leaving stress and worries behind, no frustrations

The color of the aurora in the night sky
Many of us still wondering why
Maybe someday we all can redeem
Great misfortunes of our Sweet Dreams
