If I could slay the ghosts & monsters
From a thousand bad trips & dreams
I swear I'd do it for you sweet Marie
Just to be with you again.

If I could make the diamond studded stars
Fall from the skies and place them one by one
By your side. I swear I'd do it;
Just for you sweet Marie.
