Sweet Middle Night Kisses For Kira - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Hello my sweet lady and how has your night been?
Mine has been restless never falling more the
three quarters of the way to sleep,
and even wandering around the house literally
in a half sleep daze just sitting down
here and there drifting off for a short bit.
I pray you are resting better than me
my sweet Angel dove so go food and pure
and I'm reaching out to pull you in
and give you these sweet kisses just
to say I love you babe and hold you close
to comfort both of us. I am still hurting deep inside
from a handful of stuff and I know you're hurting too.
Please reach back and wrap your arms around me as well
and we'll share sweet kisses of so good and calming
for me and you.
I love you Kira so very much I truly do
and send these sweet middle night kisses with a snuggle
to my gorgeous best friend Kira the greatest woman there's ever been.
