Sweet Nothings Poem by Brittany Graviet

Sweet Nothings

Sweet nothings,
That is what I hear.
It's what you murmur,
In my ear.

You whisper.....
'I love you'
Silly me,
Thought that was true.

You promise.....
'We'll last forever'
Then I learned,
That started never.

Sweet nothings,
I won't let you hear.
I won't murmur
Them in your ear.

I'll whisper.....
'This is the end.'
Just for you,
I won't pretend.

I promise.....
'This is done.'
Because you used me
For your sick fun.
