Sweet Patience Poem by Kevin Patrick

Sweet Patience

Found you in my darkest hours
Sitting warmly in a corner
You looked at me with a smile
Then I knew I found my white light
and dawn to dusk a crave your musk
that astral plane of scented charm
your country face and urbane mind
Can squeeze my lungs until they blush
Sweet Patience, shes my cure for blues
Sticks by my side like super glue
Now every-days a marathon
Running in glee and vigorous pride
I feel like a man of the Renaissance
Taking the world as three piece don jaun
Shes the cream in my Oreo
The shoe laces to my Nike's
and the super charge potential
to my hot electric dynamo
Your better then a lover cause your my friend
and you'll be with me until the end

Until bones bloom, My Sweetest Patience
