Sweet Tooth Poem by Kevin Patrick

Sweet Tooth

Rating: 5.0

gimme a whiff, of betty Crocker dust
Chunky chocolate chips in nitrous oxide thrust
sprinkle out a powder in a rainbow lines
rottens out my soul, but makes my life feel divine.

a tingle in my nostrils, hints scintillating ether
a tractor beam in my tongue for prophet laced seizure
Fill me up a bag for stealthy French confections
salivating flavors of kaleidoscope dimensions

Tastes just like sex, without Sunday school guilt
wraps your flesh in a satin stellar quilt
when it hits your veins, it's like sweating vanity
a fuel injected panther, without moral cavities

In thirty seconds you'll be a billion dollars
A tin-pot tycoon or a southpaw brawler
Adrenals racing like a speed demon beamer
Take another hit with some extra creamer

Its fine and dandy this Columbian candy
Hits your nerves like a night in Miami
its music in your blood rushing a terminal high
you barely hear the world that's drowning you by

I've got a sweet tooth and there's no cure
Shoot me candy lines if you want a perfect Lure
Take sugar gram and you'll fly like superman
Riding high in first class through electric candy lands

Inspired By The Black Sabbath Song Sweet Leaf, I do not advocate this special kind of sugar, its simply a tribute to one of my favorite bands.
