Sweet Sense Of Darkness Poem by Barima Basoah

Sweet Sense Of Darkness

Heaven must wait,
let the supreme hold his power.
Hell must be cool,
let its rage burst into laughter.
Time must pause,
let the clock tick not for a new day.
Earth must stop,
let there be no other season.
Sun must darken,
let every space be filled with darkness.
Wind must seize,
let every grass and leaf shake not.
Sea must be still,
let everything float calmly
Death must rest,
let every flesh rejoice over immortality.
In a sweet sense of darkness,
full of sensual pleasures,
with your spear, pierce my soul,
a crazy night of passion.
