Sweet Violin Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Sweet Violin

Play
Play sweet violin!
The Figures in the Heaven
Move
Silent and mute
Into the airy clouds
And immense wildernesses.

There be enchantment
And values be
Writ on the face of the heavens.
There be
A giant hand that writes
An all wise Eye that all
Observes.

Play
Play sweet violin!
The Figures in the Heaven
Move
Silent and mute
Into the airy clouds
And immense wildernesses.
