Sweetdreams Poem by Jacob Andrew Jarman

Sweetdreams

I miss that smile
that pierced my frown
abandoned me
like the last
ounce of hope
my eyes are weak
my skin torn
like lips cracked
my hear scorn

I miss waking
to a new days sun
taking a deep breath
i miss faith
my lungs are heavy
my skin dry
my final wish
to rest
