Sweetness Tasted Poem by Garrett Westcott

Sweetness Tasted

Rating: 4.0

Not a tear has dripped from the eye
To water this garden paradise
But God keeps watch that it does not run dry
The earth is watered and the sky free to fly
Man was made to be the king
Over all the creatures and creeping things
The fruit was pleasant to the eye
Only one fruit was denied
What more could one ask from a caring God?
Or from His kindness would you rob?
The only thing in your sight
If its sweetness tasted you would die!
