Sweetpea And Me Poem by Bill Thompson

Sweetpea And Me

Rating: 5.0

Thinking of you as we laid on the green grass, your head on my arm as we watched the clouds pass.

Thinking of you while we listened to the guitar sounds, you and me as if no one else was around.

Thinking of you as we walked down the street shining with lights, you in my arms the dance was pure delight.

Thinking of you as we had dinner under the lighted trees, your beauty is a force that brings me to my knees.

Thinking of you on that wonderful night makes my heart soar higher, even higher than the moonlight.

One final thought as you read my last line, I love you forever and a day...and until the end of time.
