Swine Flu Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Swine Flu

Lock your doors, hide the kids
Put on your masks, it's getting pathetic
Somebody, run for a medic
Somewhere near you there's a Swine Flu Pandemic

It's moving quickly
From person to person
If you catch it
You're gonna need some nursin'

90-95 Percent Recover
But the rest better hide
Better go under-cover
It can be spread from lover to lover

They think it started near a large pig farm
Didn't think initially that it was any harm
But some were struck like thunder
Now they're pushing up daisies from 6 feet under

If you're immune system is already depressed
You may be more distressed
Because Swine Flu may put it to the test
and bring you closer to your final rest

The fact that Swine Flu has quickly spread
Has some people seeing red
But there isn't enough vaccine for every head
So be prepared to be confined to bed

The symptoms for Swine Flu could affect you
Fever, chills, sore throat, caughing, fatigue and nausea too
Might be easier or worse for you
You could have symptoms up the kazoo!

Better stock up on Tamiflu
or stay locked inside if that's the best you can do
Wash your hand's often with plenty of soap
and then stay tuned to reports and don't lose hope!

If you get it really bad
You might find yourself doing a jig
and suddenly growing a snout and a tail like Porky Pig
and your belly might suddenly grow big

Worse scenario:
You might end up as breakfast sausage or bacon
Well....b, b, b, b d, dat's all folks! !
Consult your physician....because I may be mistaken!

(It's a shame, with all else going on in the world...we've got Swine Flu to worry about too.)
