Swing Poem by Rathna nagaraja

Swing

SWING
Swing swing
You Mother of cradles
Father to tree branches

Swing Swing
You swing the hanging pots
You swing the hooked lamps
A show in the house
A beauty to the garden
You are every where a place occupier

Swing swing
You March in the parade
Pendul the clock
Merry in the park
Twist in the circus
Shake in the bus
Shook the train
You are the active swing

Swing swing
You Walk with the moon
Talk with the wind
Blow with the storm
Whirl in the river
Skip with waves
Poem with streams
Dance with ponds
Tickle plants and trees
Enter the stories and poems
Churn the winds and soul
Come out humming
You are the natured swing

Swing Swing
You find no difference
Between man and woman
Rich and poor, high and low
Caste and creed
Enjoy with rich
Worry with poor
Dice with gambler
Bet with politics
You are one(among) with every one

Swing swing you
Are mummy's kid swing
Nany's gudy / Doll
Sister's pet
Loving to pairs
Dip in friendship
But a finger ring to mother earth
A string in the hands of
Lord Krishna /Almighty
You are a great swing
