Synchronously Poem by Allen Henriette

Synchronously

Let our hearts beat together synchronously
I want you to take me seriously
You know that I do care;
Don’t you?
Then how come the forbidden fruit;
You will not share?
If only your gaze could pierce through my flesh and soul
You will find that I am pure of heart
Time is running out
Things need to start
You are indeed a work of art
And for you not to know that,
is a sad mistake on your part
