T'was once..upon the ground I did lay
To soothe the ache in my heart; it did yearn
As I watched the stars my thoughts are of You
And about myself..was one thing to learn
How could one heart..possibly love to this depth
Ne're before nor ne're again
Consuming my all..You have ravished my heart;
More than these words..one could ever put to pen
Have I loved Thee for a million years
Be it centuries yet to unfold;
that I will still love Thee with passion beyond..
the Time for to come..as those days of old?
