T - Who's The Crutch?

After recent wondering
for reasons forgotten (iconoclastic?) ,
chanced across today
a word for the lopped cross,
the crutch, the T -
the potencé.

Thought, 'Expect a bald king
to be potent, but not one with hair';

'Power's a crutch:
who's in is one for who isn't,
who's not in is one for who is';

Connected the reek of fenugreek;

Pondered 'potencé' in a question
for a Multi-Millionaire quiz.
