Tag - Poem by Jeshua Logsdon

I am it.
This endless game of tag
And I am it.

There are no teams.
No boundaries.
No rules.

And you will never be it.

You will never
Be it.

I could chase you all day
But in the end, it will be the same.

I am it.

Constantly, you outsmart me.
Even when I take a new strategy,

Even when I think you want to be captured.

Somehow, you slip away.
And still.

I am it.
