you broke my heart
into a million pieces
even though you said
'my love for you never ceases'

i trusted you fully
but you proved me blind
how could i trust you
when true love never really shined

my heart beats for you
and for you only
opposite of the 'love'
you once showed me

it beats no more
since you walked away
like the lone crow
who flys astray

the key to my heart
held forever in your grasp
while your words of hatred
tear my heart like a rasp

this dirty blood
running through these veins
will be forever tainted
with this pain
