Tainted Love Poem by Rachel BaByBeAr Anderson

Tainted Love

How funny
You swear you loved me
and yet here we are again
Me feeling alone and forgotten
and you sitting there all smug

There are so many times
where I wished you were gone
and then regretted thinking such a thing.

I hate myself for loving you
then I hate myself for hating that
you dont care though
you revel in my pain.

I always thought that love was unconditional
but there you are
your mere existence shows me thats a lie.

Your affection for me is long dead
And your caring is cold
you're words are poison
Our love is nothing but tainted meat
waiting to be thrown away.
