I was trying very hard to forget
the recent events that transpired
slowly the pain starting to fade
but you keep reminding me
as you just can't stop yourself
in writing the love you've had
tears that's kept in your heart
however much you deny
your lips would say otherwise
but your verse and pen don't lie

until when are you going to end
reminding me of your past love
I beg you to stop, let me forget
let my poor heart be at rest
let my deep wound heal first
do not keep reminding me
how you have left me for her
please let my wound heal
while I am trying very hard
to come to terms with the pain
to be able to continue
with our tainted love...
