Take A Chance Poem by Brittney Walsh

Take A Chance

Your feet like roots,
planted to the floor.
Your fear hugs you close
so you can not move.
To scared to walk over.
You think what if it goes wrong
and the never-ending embarassment.
You stand off to the side
just wishing you could do something.
Don't ruin what could be
the great feeling of joy.
Don't wait to take the risk
'cause if you don't act quick,
your chance could be gone.
Your feet like roots,
planted to the floor.
Break your fear and hear the crack
and don't hold back
