A happy life, it's not a trick,
No magic spell, no hidden kick.
Just simple things, day by day,
To chase the blues and light the way.

Your body strong, a happy friend,
With sleep enough, till day's end.
Good food to eat, to make you bright,
And moving feet, with all your might.

Dear friends and kin, a loving crew,
They care for you, and you for them too.
When worries bite, and tears may fall,
Speak out your heart, to one and all.
And kindness spread, a gentle seed,
A happy feeling, it will breed.

Then find your joy, in moments small,
Be thankful for it, stand up tall.
This very now, so real and true,
The future waits, but this is you.
Do things you love, with steady hand,
And feel you've grown, and understand.
