Take It Away Poem by justin byerline

Take It Away

Rating: 5.0

If anything, maybe this was to teach me a lesson
just like the rock in my pocket
it's not going to take off
like every other rocket
it could be that i am just lost
at the devils cost
if anything i guess i will run
insted of hiding behind a gun
you're all wrong
you're all gone
take it away
you think i got no balls
but i will still stay
just to get a rise out of you
and your sister too
no one understands a night dweller
who only needs a seller
and some music to feel
maybe a card or two to deal
a life to live
and a thought to give
as the farmer sows
the cold wind blows
