Take It Personal - Poem by Nyoka Mitchell

Never mind the disappointment, never mind the time wasted.
Never mind the saltiness from the tears that you tasted.
Look alive, feel amazing.
Search for the life that you ever so been craving.
Do it with attitude that will have ALL of hell raising.
Stand tall, be fierce.
MAKE them adore your name and and face.
Dismiss all those against you with a STRONG coup de grâce.
But always remember you wasted a good deal of time and tears.
Mark today the start of your journey to more greater years.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

This is more of a statement. This statement is meant to inspire someone who tends to be held back by things that aren't so important. Letting someone know that whatever you want to do, just go for it with full force. Be your oneness inspiration, but never forget where you came from. Only because where you come from is the starting point and reason for inspiration.
