Take Me To A Place Far Away - Poem by Deepak Hariharan

Take me to a place far away,
Where on every branch flowers sway

A place where your dimpled smile lights up my day,
And beautifully takes my breath away

A place where we dine,
With candlelight and wine

Take me to a place far away,
Where on every branch flowers sway

A place where our hands meet,
And we walk down the beach with waves touching our feet

A place where I can hold your hand forever,
And tell you I would be with you forever and ever

Take me to a place far away,
Where on every branch flowers sway

A place where I can look into your eyes all night,
And tell you everything's going to be all right

A place where I can watch a thousand full moons with you,
And say that I will always be there for you

Take me to a place far away,
Where on every branch flowers sway

A place where I can say I love you,
And never tire of hearing the same from you

A place where I can hear your beautiful voice,
And forget all the unnecessary noise

Take me to a place far away,
Where on every branch flowers sway

A place where we sit by the fireplace,
And cozy upto each other with a hot coffee in place

A place where we don't have to say sorry,
And none of us has any worry

Take me to a place far away,
Where on every branch flowers sway

A place where we can live a lifetime,
And none of of us has to go away from the other at any time

A place where we grow old together,
But still remain young at heart forever

Take me to a place far away,
Where on every branch flowers sway
Take me to a place far away, far away, very far away
