Take My Hand Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Take My Hand

Rating: 5.0

Please take my trembling hand
and comfort me through the tumultous night.
Let me pass away in a peaceful slumber
before dawn's early light

If I know you are beside me,
I will overcome any fear.
My concerns and my worries
will be forgotten because you are near.

So, please be at my bedside
until it is time for me to go
to join my departed kinfolk and friends
that I had loved and missed from long ago.
