Take The Ferret Too Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

Take The Ferret Too

Rating: 5.0

Sent into spasms of laughter
Thinking about my ever after
I will not get close to those gates
I am getting ice skates
To slide down the slippery slope
Where I am told, there is no hope
Straight into that burning fire
Right up to my neck in the mire
Not even a tea break I have heard
Mind that’s only the other half’s word
So
I am booking two weeks in the desert
Just to acclimatise myself, and her ferret
If I am going there, he is coming too
Why, because he pees every day in my shoe
Please spare a thought
For this upside down astronaut
Who went the wrong way
For his sins to dearly pay
Maybe you can come too
Bring the ferret that pees in your shoe
