Take Us On A Walk Of Despair Poem by Mark. A Heathcote

Take Us On A Walk Of Despair

Take us on a walk of despair.
'Woe is me'
Tell us how it is at the end of days
That no one truly cares
Could you tell us how no one loves you?
No one understands you
How everyone loathes and ignores you
How truly nothing is ever fair.

'Woe is me'
No one is in my corner.
No one ultimately has my back.
Please tell us ‘Woe is me' about your next walk of shame
How things are bad, but you can't complain
How every experience is not altogether unpleasant.
How two negatives can even make a positive
How the snowdrops fare in February.
