Take Your Bow Poem by Charley Staines

Take Your Bow

You hurt me, so much so,
Though I still love you, you have to know,
What you did when you betrayed my trust,
All the words wont matter, but needs must,
I need to tell you the hurt I carry still,
I want to be us, but fear we never will,
You didn't realise what you did,
Of course you did, who're we trying to kid,
Speaking honestly for the first time,
I wish you'd been there everytime I cried,
Cried for you, all that we'd been,
Cried for you and every single dream,
I was so easy just to discard,
When you, you had the biggest place in my heart,
I don't know if you know,
But i'm going to tell you now,
You broke me in two, take your bow.
