Taken Amiss

Gone again what a waste
never again too bitter a taste
Two people sharing the same fate
who couldn't learn to communicate
A time for war a time for peace
seems the latter was never reached
Closer than atoms unable to part
the split will surely rend the heart
The spilling staining as red dye
Without looking back I say goodbye
