I’m taking a break
Of loving again
I’m sad to say
You’re the first I really loved
But, leaving broke my heart.
So I’m taking a break
To mend it again
I’m afraid to love
Because of you
Don’t think that I hate you
Or that I am mad at you
You’ve thought that for too long
But it’s because of boys like you
That I can’t love easily
Or trust anyone truly
So, I’m
Taking a break.
