Tale Of Two Faces Poem by HSJ HSJ

Tale Of Two Faces

Snake eyes,21 Bust
Royal flush, trip four's
White ball on the roulette
Betting on red, black
Even numbers for or against
Uneven numbers same odds

Like flipping a coin
The tale of two faces
Never landing in it's side

Word's feeling's coil like
Braided wire inside infused
With feelings that ether let's
All out or block all inside

Every fused and em braided
Feeling being torn of one by one
Every out becomes a symbol on
Paper that reflex the inner -
Symbol becomes word

How deep each of us go is
Entirely up to us
Question is?
How deep are you willing to venture
For you might not like what you see

The reflection of a person
You hardly know ?
Is a open book you have read
A thousand times over

The person behind the paper
The pencil writing the life's journey
Different genres for each life's journey
Where to stop get off or
Continue the uncharted road

For some the journey will be ending
Sooner then later as fate has
Different plans for us all

Some pray to the powers that be
To release there hold and let
Them be taken to switch places
With a soul that still needs
To travel this earth

Be honest with the re flexion
Look at the ripples in the pond
I ask to be released
I ask to step into another's place

Let my number come up
My black jack fold
My chips are done
