Talk About Amazing Grace Poem by Denis Martindale

There was a truly precious girl called Grace and in her
Baptist Church she was nicknamed as Amazing Grace.
On learning her family was going on holiday to Spain,
she prayed about foreign languages. That night, she
had a dream with one of her teachers talking to her.
Suddenly, the lady started speaking in tongues and
Grace stopped her and asked, with a sense of urgency,
What did you say? What did you say? Grace woke up
still saying those words, and then she prayed.

At breakfast, her Dad told her a word of knowledge
from the Lord. Before going on holiday, God wants
Grace to get baptised. Next Thursday is Immerse Day!
Grace smiled and looked forward to Thursday!

At school, she met the teacher in her dream who told
Grace she had a dream about Grace speaking in tongues.
Grace invited her to her baptism and the teacher agreed.
Immediately following the baptism, Grace arose from the
water and spoke in tongues. Suddenly as one voice, many
in the congregation spoke these words, What did you say?

Grace's teacher told Grace later, God has got great things
planned for you! Grace praised the Lord and then asked,
What about you? Has God got great things planned for you?


As believers, that's a question we should ask ourselves, too.
