When i stand outside, i hear them
When i open a window, they're waiting
When i walk outside, they greet me
I could lay outside for hours
And listen to their chatter
As they gossip in the wind
A rustle of leaves
A snap of a twig
Signs that they're happy to see me
I talk to the trees
They talk back to me
Please don't question my sanity
Do you want to know what they say
And the lovely games they play
Gentle breeze caress my face
Sit down and listen
For the trees will certaintly wisper
Try hard enough and you'll see
That the trees talk to me
