Charlotte Ballard

Tangled Hair - Poem by Charlotte Ballard

Tangled hair
Wrapped in her fist
Sharpness brushed
Tiny shrapnel over my scalp.
Separating me from
What used to be me.
I hope for a knot
To pause the destruction
