Taoism Poem by Nicolas 'Kokonutz' Kokonas

Taoism

Liberate the feeling of sadness
From the minds of the weary
For the weak shall fall but
Not before life’s struggles will end.
Be sure brave seekers, be sure,
That what you hope to find is
Worth what you may come across.
But go, into the soulless night
And return with what you have
been able to reach, and grasp, without help:
Knowledge shall find you wandering
and guide you back so as you may
Fall, under the last breathless night you
find that you shall be breathless with her
Cause all Ferdinand’s men will return
and teach us what no one did know:
That there can be no end to
Our travels even if we keep on traveling
The same road, let curiosity guide you
And the soulless night, she’ll do the rest
