Two stitches are sown
In two separate worlds,
Two hearts start to beat
For new lives to unfold,
Still growing in darkness
For paths yet to meet,
Patiently waiting,
Life’s picture to greet.

Then out from edge
And into worlds light
Weaving two stories
On a fabric of life.
Threads changing colour
And texture and hue,
Entwining with others
To form patterns new.

Nurtured and guided
By hands close and far,
Finding their purpose
And just who they are,
These two threads have grown
And painted a view;
Of music, and healing,
And making threads new.

Now from their own cloth
These two yarns combine,
Spinning together
In a marriage so fine,
With love, and desire
Giving strength at the seams,
These two threads are one now,
And can follow their dreams.
