Tea Party With The Princesses Poem by Justin Gildow

Tea Party With The Princesses

Sitting in my seat
Having a tea party with
the princesses
I'm gracious for their audience

Having tea and cake
We talk about many things
Mainly love and friendship
As well as the people we know

We tell of stories of our
lives

They're dressed beautifully
Looking like princesses
They could even pass for being
prom queens
Or even queens themselves
If one day, they get their own
kingdom
And become queen
Then I can't say I'll be surprised

The princesses ask me of my life
And how the world is treating me
these days
I tell them that I'm well

As refills of tea and cake
are made
We continue our conversations
Enjoying this wonderful time
that we have right now
