Very beautiful, Sandra. I think you are speaking to all of us. I do try, in my poems, to be a voice to the world and to teach, not only express my feelings.

You have defined the ideal (and perhaps idealized) teacher who is ready to inspire and inform a student of (perhaps) equal potential. All is in readiness for the drama of education. I feel so positive and hopeful about this vision of the Teacher-Poet - he or she is the one we need today to take charge of a vexed system collapsing under its own weight, when instead teachers ans students should be F-L-Y-I-N-G to each of the wonders of the world at large.
