Teacher's Day Poem by Deepak Calyampoondi

Teacher's Day

Unignited minds,
Lack candescence,
To heat up,
A noetic race,
And illiteracy is,
A mistress to crime.

Millions of candles are lit,
By power of knowledge,
Thus rushes a new wave,
With caps, ready to share our throne.

Broken chains with stronger bonds,
Healthy winds of change sing a song,
And we dance to,
That single tune in, Perfect harmony.

Our saviour,
A heavenly preceptor,
Burns to emit that knowledge,
Paves the path of true enlightenment,
Our devotion is not limited just today,
Because it's,
Teacher's day, everyday!
