I tried to teach them the song
And they got the music all wrong,
And more to them I would show and teach
Seemingly though, it was out of their reach.
I spent more time teaching them the music
Unto which I was excited and enthusiastic,
And the more and more to them that I taught
The less they wanted or sought.
Music I believe is like life
When performed correctly you feel no strife,
But, when played wrong or not in the correct chord
You feel saddened and ignored.
Them I tried to teach, but I felt betrayed
So, I decided to go to where my music is played,
I then found people sharing the same tune
Loving is always easy for those who commune.
