Tear Stained Pillow - Poem by shirley hedrick

I tossed and turned all night long
I didn't sleep ah wink
I cry my self to sleep each night
On my tear stained pillow
All I do is worry about you

I wonder if the day will come
So I can hold you in my arms
I wanna be the one to comfort you
If its only just to hold you
I cry my self to sleep each night
On my tear stained pillow

It seems when were to meet
Something bad always happens
All I do is worry about you
I haven't heard from you in days
I pray to God you'll be alright
And you make it here tonight
All I do is cry on my tear stained pillow
