Teardrops Poem by Shey Limerance

Teardrops

A shower of saltwater
A tremor without cold
These tears upon my skin
Have a story that needs told

That day you left me in the rain
It was the limit;
Overwhelmed with pain-
Life isn't a fairytale, and
I'm not in it

I wish you'd understand...
Love's not about having the upper hand.
