Your shining rays upon my heart
That glance you give that makes me start
The warmth that finds itself in my soul,
Fingers, searching constantly
for something I cannot feel, but see.
Eyes, so bright and blue,
The curve of your lips
When you look at me
The red on my cheeks
When I see what you see.
Candle, waxed and burning bright,
towering at a dizzying height
Age grows long as wick grows short;
Throbbing in my mind
Do you think that I don't notice,
that I'm blind?
