Tears Poem by Amarjit Sidhu

Tears

Tears did not drop
I saw a child with fried legs
I saw a man with brain split
Pouring out
like my morning omelet
a child with no eyes
a man pieced in seven
lucky him?
I smoked and took a cab
One of my friend went through
Her dad dying
I drank coffee
In my world
There was this
Where 700 died in
Conflict
While we were on vacation
In my world I tried
To save just one lost love
Pathetic
I ask
No?
No?
My friends
No tears dropped
In parallel
Life lives on
With no legs no mother no child
No father No brother No father No brother
No hands
With no future
It seems
At the moment
