Tears Poem by Swechha Naik

From the moist eyes, they flow so clear
pouring along all the worries and cheers
The words unspoken, forgotten, unsaid
that throb inside and ache the chest
All the love, affection, petition divine
failed to express, undermined by stress;
the quivering lips that had kept quiet
when you lost your love, lost your might;
the young heart betrayed by the unkind,
pieces of your trust shattered in rime;
when you were held wrong for your goodness grand,
nothing hurt you more than when he left your hand..
You never said a thing, never did he sigh;
you'd have no shoulder even to cry..
With all the sorrow, you'd know the pain
and from my moist eyes, they flow so clear
I let them flow free.... my tears -!
